I just got a great question regarding acne and how to deal with it. This is what I PERSONALLY found helpful. (Everyone’s body/skin is different so what works for me may not work for everyone):

I used to get mild breakouts from time to time, and I noticed they virtually went away when I started eating clean (and including lots of healthy fats like avocado, olive oil, coconut oil, fish oil, salmon etc) into my diet. Also, drinking a gallon of water a day really helps flush out toxins in the body!

Other than that, I exfoliate about 2 times a week and use a clay or avocado mask from Whole Foods. I also make sure to moisturize both morning and night to keep my skin from getting overly-oily to compensate for dryness. Also, I make sure to keep makeup brushes clean and avoid touching my face whenever possible! =)
