“Hi! I had a couple questions for you. First of all, how do you feel about workout plans like P90X or Insanity? And do you think yoga is important to incorporate into a workout? Lastly, as a very fit woman do you ever feel that men find you intimidating?”

I get asked these question so often!! It’s funny you should put them alll in one ask! haha
To be honest, I’ve never done insanity or p90x. As far as I know they are some kind of workout dvd with resistance training and cardio. Which is what most exercise dvd’s are. My “opinion” on them would simply be…. “if you enjoy them and they get you to exercise, then by all means, do them!”

Yoga has never really been my thing. I don’t enjoy the awkward positions (they’re probably not awkward and I probably just offended a bunch of yogi’s but they FEEL awkard to ME lol) and I don’t like balancing and stretching and twisting and posing and basically doing anything that yoga does lol. But again.. if it is something you enjoy doing, then by all means do it!

I have always had problems with the whole “intimidating” thing. I’ve been told unfortunately more times than I can count by both guys AND girls that I can be very intimidating. That always surprises me because I’m a really goofy, weird, awkward person.. not snobby and “bitchy” or intimidating. But supposedly it’s “something about my face”. haha. But in response to your question regarding the fitness part… yes and no. I think to some guys it’s attractive that I lift weights and some find it intimidating. No one has had the guts to tell me it’s UN-attractive, so I’m assuming I’m not over-muscular in their eyes. Either way the important thing to keep in mind is to do what YOU love and enjoy and  you will find someone who loves you for it. Trust me, there are plenty of guys who think it’s “hot” and aren’t insecure enough to be “intimidated” by it. Besides, who wants to be with someone who is insecure about a strong woman!? Don’t let their silly little insecurities deter you from doing what you love! =)
