Muffin Top-Less
I sat up out of bed one morning, the rolls of my beer gut smushing together. With my head pounding against my skull and my skin tingling from dehydration, I realized.. I can't do this anymore. So I decided to ditch the booze and the crazy, college, party-girl lifestyle and get fit! I hope to use my journey and my knowledge to educate and motivate all you girls out there who are looking to do the same! Feel free to ask me anything!
I know I talk about nutrition and training a lot… but there are other areas of health that I think are important as well! I do a lot of “grooming” to make sure my skin, hair and nails stay looking nice and healthy. I thought I’d share some of the things I’ve found useful! =)
My Tips for Radiant Hair, Nails & Skin:
- Eat a wide variety of healthy, clean foods. You body needs them to function at it’s best! Healthy fats, veggies and lean proteins are a MUST!
- Drink plenty of fresh H2O! Water hydrates the body, relieves the body of toxins and keeps your organs functioning at their best!
- Supplement wisely. Fish oil, multi-vitamins and Biotin are great for hair, nails, skin, and the rest of our body!
- Exfoliate every few days. This helps slough off dry, dead cells. Find a gentle exfoliator and use small, circular motions.
- Moisturize. Use gentle face moisturizers, conditioners and lotions to keep dry skin and hair at bay.
- Keep your hands off your face! It spreads bacteria and can cause breakouts.
- Strip out of sweaty gym clothes asap and shower off. This will help prevent breakouts and other infections.
