I sat up out of bed one morning, the rolls of my beer gut smushing together. With my head pounding against my skull and my skin tingling from dehydration, I realized.. I can't do this anymore. So I decided to ditch the booze and the crazy, college, party-girl lifestyle and get fit! I'm new to this whole "blog" thing, so bear with me! I had an awesome chest & tris workout today. Did it at home (we have some equipment here). I’m finding that I love working out at home. While I miss being at a gym, I feel like I can do so much more without interruption being at home. I’m so glad we have some decent equipment. Powerblocks are seriously amazing!! I also did some hill intervals on my treadmill for 3 miles which was a good time =P
- Machine Press 4x12
- Tricep Pushdown (straight bar) 4x12
- Pec Dec Flies 4x10
- Tricep Dumbbell Kickbacks 4x12
- Incline Dumbbell Press 4x12
- Tricep Pushdown (rope - slow on the eccentric portion) 4x12
- Dummbbell Flies 4x12 Supersetted with Dummbbell Flat Bench Press (I was just trying to burn myself out) 4x20
Feels good to be able to workout pretty normally again. I did something funky to my elbow and was having trouble with push downs and curls. Gave it a rest and it’s back to 100% as of now! YAY! =D
