Not sure if any of you have heard of it or not (I assume those who do cross fit have) but the Paleo diet (also known as the caveman diet) is becoming increasingly popular. The basic principle is that individuals who live the “paleo lifestyle” eat the way our paleolithic ancestors ate. Natural foods such as fruit, vegetables, nuts and meat. They don’t eat grains, legumes, dairy products, salt, refined sugar or processed oils. This “diet” seems to me to be very reasonable and satisfying for long term use. For those of you struggling to find a healthy balance, Paleo might be the right thing for you.
